20th Century Fox have today released a 2nd trailer for their upcoming animation, 'Ferdinand' in which Raúl is set to star. We get a couple of glimpses of Raul's character, 'Moreno', in this trailer - he appears to be the owner of the farm where Ferdinand is sent after he is mistaken for a dangerous beast - but we do not hear him speak.
Ferdinand is set for release in December (US: 15th, UK: 16th)
It has been announced today that Raúl is to star as 'Moreno' in the upcoming animated feature film, 'Ferdinand'.
The film is based on Munro Leaf's children's book: The Story of Ferdinand. Ferdinand is a Spanish Fighting Bull who prefers smelling the flowers and practicing non-violence rather than chasing red cloths held by matadors in arenas. But when disaster comes to him, he is taken to a fighting stadium like every bull in Spain, and Ferdinand needs to decide if he is a fighting bull or a flower smelling, generous bull, in order to earn his freedom.
The film will also star John Cena, David Tennant, Kate McKinnon and Gina Rodriguez. It is being produced by Blue Sky productions (the company behind the Ice Age franchise) and 20th Century Fox animation. It is due for release on December 15th in the US and December 16th in the UK.
